Family Food & Fun

Family Food & Fun is a holiday club for families with primary school aged children (5-11), where the whole family can come and enjoy food, crafts and a whole lot of fun. 

We know that it can be a challenge to feed, and entertain children during the school holidays- especially if finances are tight.

We wanted to create a safe and fun environment to meet that need for the families in Ashford.

RENEW WELLBEING

Renew Wellbeing is a national charity helping churches open safe places, in partnership with mental health teams. These aim to improve mental and emotional wellbeing by creating simple cafe style spaces run by local churches where hobbies and activities are shared or co-produced. 

At Ashford Together we have partnered with Renew Wellbeing to open weekly Renew Wellbeing spaces- First launched by Willesborough Baptist last year, Ashford Together now are working towards opening 3 more spaces across Ashford in 2022.

Move-on Mentoring

Move-On Mentoring is a team of mentors investing in our former Winter Night Shelter guests and other former homeless people as they transition into independent living.

At the very heart is friendship and a supportive ear, giving space for questions and sign-posting to other help and support. Our wider partnership gives advice about money management and access to other services such as health, job searches, and navigation through forms and paperwork.
